Reed Smith LLP in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced recruiting leader to direct the lateral associate and law student recruitment across the Southern California offices, including Century City, Los Angeles and Orange County. You will partner with senior recruiting leadership to attract top talent and manage the campus recruitment programs and related talent initiatives.

Qualifications

• A minimum of four years of management-level recruiting experience in a law firm.
• Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Understanding of current law firm industry, market trends and philosophies.
• Strong leadership, management and organizational skills; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead lateral associate and counsel recruiting across Southern California offices.
• Partner with recruiting leadership to identify, attract, and hire top talent.
• Oversee campus recruiting, summer associate and new associate programs for the region.
• Coordinate relationships with external search firms and legal recruiters.
• Manage candidate screening, interviews, offers, onboarding and data reporting.
• Prepare recruiting reports and budgets.
• Travel for meetings and trainings as required.
