Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a Senior Manager of Legal Operations to build and lead the operational backbone of a ~40-person legal team. You will modernize contract lifecycle management, optimize intake, and drive scalable processes across finance, procurement, and business units.

This high-impact role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and aims to accelerate value delivery. You will own metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives, shaping governance and risk management while

Qualifications

• 7+ years in legal operations with ownership of programs
• Experience implementing or resetting a CLM platform (Agiloft, Ironclad, Conga, Salesforce)
• Experience managing legal department budgets and outside counsel billing
• Track record of building metrics programs and using data to drive decisions
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and change

Responsibilities

• Build and manage operational infra for a ~40-person legal ops department
• Lead CLM modernization and intake transformation with IT and stakeholders
• Develop executive dashboards to measure velocity, capacity, and risk reduction
• Own budgets, staffing, and knowledge management within the legal function
• Partner with CLO and cross-company teams to drive strategic initiatives
