We are looking for our Senior Legal Counsel who would be part of our Legal & Compliance team in Tietoevry Tech Services. We play a vital part in the implementation of Tietoevry Tech Services’ strategy and supporting the distinct success paths of our end-to-end businesses, through delivering high-quality services at scale and fostering an exceptional culture.

When joining Tietoevry Tech Services as Corporate Governance & Compliance:

You report directly to Tietoevry Tech Services’ Head of Commercial Legal and support the operations in Sweden and assist, if necessary, the legal department in the Nordics and other countries where Tietoevry Tech Services has operations. Your work will mainly involve reviewing and drafting agreements, participating in internal and external meetings and being responsible for various legal issues in areas such as contract law, company law, public procurement and IT law. You will thus act as legal advisor both in relation to other internal support functions and within the company's various areas of activity.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Ongoing legal support to the various parts of the business regarding customer projects and internal issues.

• Prepare and review agreements, as well as work with template and steering documents for the business.

• Negotiations with customers and suppliers.

• Contact person for external lawyers who are procured for specific projects.

• Participation in and documentation responsibility linked to internal decision-making processes.

• Internal training activities adapted to the needs of the business.

Given the geographical spread of the business and the fact that customer projects are conducted throughout the Nordic region, the service may be associated with travel from time to time.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You preferably have at least 10 years of experience in equivalent work at a law firm, company, or other equivalent experience. We would like to see experience of working in a larger organization linked to knowledge management and educational issues.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• Knowledge of regulations regarding data protection, personal data processing and other IT-related laws
• Experience in Swedish law linked to public procurement, contract law and labor law.
• a desire to expand your skillset
• an adaptive attitude, no hesitation to work hands-on and come up with pragmatic and well-structured solutions
• good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset are essential
• Very good oral and written proficiency in English and Swedish language is a requirement. Knowledge of additional Nordic language is an advantage.

You are used to working in projects and in a result-oriented organization. The role means that you have the opportunity to be involved in projects with specialists from different parts of the business, regarding both business-related tasks and internal strategic issues.
