Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in the state/jurisdiction where the position is based or compliant with in-house rules.
Minimum eight years of legal experience with at least five years as in-house counsel.
Minimum five years' experience in the logistics and transportation industry, including ocean, air and warehousing.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to air, ocean and related logistic services.
Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters efficiently and cost-effectively.
Advise senior management on risk, compliance, and regulatory issues.
Support corporate governance, internal policies, and training for stakeholders.
Provide HR-related legal support on labor and employment matters.
Interface with Group functions and key stakeholders in the U.S. and globally.
