Charles Schwab in Austin, TX is seeking a seasoned attorney to join the Legal team supporting CSIM. The role focuses on legal support for exchange traded products and involves strategy, drafting offering documents, initial offering, and ongoing maintenance of CSIM’s ETPs.

You will advise on regulatory requirements, negotiate with platforms, monitor developments, and coordinate with outside counsel. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, along with experience with

Competenze

• JD from a top-tier law school or equivalent.
• 5–10 years legal experience in a large broker-dealer or asset management environment.
• Strong drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and analyze contractual issues and provide solutions.
• Developed negotiation skills with counterparties.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to present to senior leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated professional with excellent people skills and independence.

Mansioni

• Prepare and file prospectuses and offering memoranda.
• Advise on legal and regulatory requirements for publicly listed ETPs and private funds.
• Draft and negotiate agreements with third-party service providers.
• Assist with preparing annual, quarterly, and current reports.
• Provide legal guidance on marketing, disclosures, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory developments related to ETPs, crypto, commodities and derivatives.
• Work with and manage outside counsel.
• Collaborate with business, compliance and legal teams to align priorities within the regulatory framework.
