Job summary

Anchorage Digital is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel with a builder’s mindset to join our Trading Solutions team. You will provide strategic legal guidance from product discovery through launch, ensuring full regulatory compliance across market infrastructure including trading venues, prime brokers, custodians, and payments rails.

You will lead structuring, drafting, and negotiation of counterparty agreements, coordinate with internal teams and external counsel, and advise leadership on

Qualifications

• 8+ years of transactional experience in reviewing financial transaction agreements, ISDA/CSA and trade confirmations.
• Ability to create, draft, negotiate a wide range of agreements including digital asset trading and prime brokerage agreements.
• Understanding of the regulatory frameworks that pertain to digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of counterparty agreements (electronic trading, derivatives, financing).
• Coordinate with internal teams and manage external counsel to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to executive leadership on regulatory risks and reputational issues.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks with Compliance.
