Job summary

Wolters Kluwer N.V. seeks a Senior Legal Counsel for CP&ESG North America to support the Tagetik business unit and related units. The role collaborates with product, engineering, and business leaders to shape legal strategy and advise on complex software transactions and AI initiatives.

Hybrid role with onsite meetings; preferred locations include New York, Chicago, Tampa and Atlanta. Excellent compensation and a broad benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible legal experience.
• Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction of residence.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Drafting and negotiating complex software transactions and SOWs.
• Knowledge of AI-related regulation and responsible AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct legal support for software transactions, MSAs and SOWs.
• Ensure legal strategies align with business goals.
• Innovate processes and drive continuous legal improvement.
• Advise on product, engineering, and business development from a legal perspective.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on AI deployment.
