Base pay range

$250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

• Firm: Leading Hedge Fund *North of $40B AUM*
• Location: New York City (midtown)

Our client, a leading hedge fund with over $40B AUM is looking to expand by hiring a Senior Funds Lawyer to join their team and engage in a variety of different responsibilities.

• Provide comprehensive day-to-day legal support for the structuring, formation, and ongoing management of investment funds, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and industry best practices.
• This includes advising on fund governance, compliance requirements, investor relations, and operational matters to facilitate smooth fund administration.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of SEC registration statements and ongoing compliance programs to maintain adherence with regulatory obligations.
• Advise fund managers and sponsors on all aspects of the formation, capital raising, offering processes, structural design, and operational management of a wide variety of private investment vehicles.
• Provide counsel on diverse investment strategies and fund formation issues, coordinating and managing external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions and projects to ensure consistent, effective legal advice and streamlined communication.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, external counsel, and other stakeholders to address complex transactional and regulatory matters.
