Job summary

TXP is seeking an experienced professional to lead legacy migration projects, focusing on CA Gen-based systems. You will guide automated migrations, define modernisation strategies, and deliver conversions to COBOL and modern stacks such as Java, .NET, and Spring Boot.

Strong communication and a track record in mainframe migrations are essential. Engage with customers and technical stakeholders to align migration approaches, ensure functional equivalence, and document reusable patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong commercial experience with CA Gen (Cool:Gen).
• Experience with application migration, legacy modernisation, or re-platforming.
• Experience with Gen Models, Action Diagrams, Business Components, and Data Models.
• Experience working in Mainframe environments (e.g., 3270 block-mode applications).
• Proficiency in one or more: COBOL, Java, .NET, Spring Boot, Angular, or Cloud platforms.
• Experience using automation tooling for application migration.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
