Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline with research leadership potential.
• Proven track record in functional genomics with high impact outcomes.
• Experience with genome engineering or perturbation approaches (CRISPR-Cas or related).
• Experience in teaching and learning design at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.

Responsibilities

• Lead research in functional genomics and disease modelling.
• Contribute to teaching in genetics and molecular biology.
• Establish an independent externally funded research program.
• Mentor HDR students and supervise HDRs.
• Collaborate across UNSW and partner institutes to enable platform use.
