Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. Position Overview

An integral part of the Benefits Team, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of and compliance for our leave of absence and accommodation programs. This role will research, analyze and administer the company's leave of absence and accommodation programs. Will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure the highest standards of quality and customer service are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities

The below represents the primary duties of the position, others may be assigned as needed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Leads the coordination of processes for leave, disability, and absence management programs to ensure appropriate risk management, cost control and adherence to the law.
  • Leads the ADAAA accommodation process, using industry experience to conduct interactive discussions with employees and managers to arrive at optimal solutions, and ensuring procedural follow through.
  • Ensures system and payroll records are accurate, including proper and timely execution of moving employees through the appropriate lifecycle if they are not able to return to work.
  • Monitors and tracks FMLA leave usage, ensuring compliance with leave entitlements and any applicable state or federal regulations.
  • Provides timely responses to requests and questions regarding benefits, escalating complex issues to vendors or benefits team members as appropriate.
  • Utilizes demonstrated technical skills with respect to leave data to conduct analysis, problem solve, conduct process improvements, spot trends, and resolve issues.
  • Recommends, implements, and executes programs and processes to streamline our LOA and accommodation process to minimize risk and improve the experience for employees, their managers and their teams.
  • Manages vendor relationship to ensure quality and excellent customer service to the organization and to employees. Manages any vendor changes as it relates to our internal processes or HRIS systems.
  • Provides ongoing support for HR Business Partners /Managers for leave related concerns/statues; partners with legal as required.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years’ experience in an HR and/or benefits capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and HRIS systems experience.
  • Experience with leaves of absence and exposure to a benefits enrollment platform such as Aflac.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment and use excellent judgment to accomplish key priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, daily responsibilities, and projects with accuracy.
  • Experience executing LOA and accommodation programs will practicing empathy with a customer centric approach showing a high level of professionalism working with all levels of employees.
  • Demonstrated inquisitive nature with exceptional organization and detail orientation.
  • Demonstrated initiative for advanced planning and process improvement.
  • Dedication to the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations such as ERISA and FMLA.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $66,300 - $85,000 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
