Job summary

Mark-Taylor in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Leasing Consultant to join Nexa at a beautiful community. You will greet prospective residents, lead tours, and guide applicants through the full leasing process with exceptional service.

You will close leases, manage pricing and availability, and collaborate with the leasing team to maintain a welcoming, high-standard community. The role emphasizes customer relations, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of multifamily leasing experience.
• Proven ability to drive lead conversion and occupancy.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Leadership presence to mentor leasing team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Lease-up experience preferred.
• English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the “face” of Mark-Taylor and greet prospective and current residents, delivering an exceptional experience.
• Conduct detailed and informative tours with prospective residents.
• Close the sale by guiding applicants through the full application process and following up on status.
• Create positive experiences for residents through all communication channels (email, phone, in-person).
• Maintain resident files, collect rent, and manage apartment availability and pricing.
• Contribute to a world-class community experience reflecting Mark-Taylor’s high brand standards.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $21.00/hr - $22.00hr.
• In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible to receive bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of multifamily leasing experience in a multifamily setting is required.
• Proven leasing skills with a track record of driving lead conversion, occupancy, and leasing performance.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills with the ability to confidently and professionally manage escalated resident concerns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and maintain consistent communication with residents and prospects.
• Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to support, mentor, and collaborate with Leasing Team members.
• Highly adaptable with the ability to manage changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Community-focused with the ability to build resident relationships, foster engagement, and create a welcoming environment
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
• Lease-up experience preferred.
• Associates and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will

• Serve as the “face” of Mark-Taylor- greeting prospective & current residents and providing them with an exceptional experience every step of the way.
• Conduct detailed and informative tours with prospective residents.
• Close the sale- guiding prospective residents through the complete application process and following up with future residents regarding their status.
• Create positive and memorable experiences for future and current residents through all mediums of communication (e-mail, telephone, in-person, etc.)
• Maintain resident files, accept rental payments, and actively manage apartment availability and pricing.
• Generate a world-class community experience for residents and fellow employees, taking ownership and pride in the property reflecting Mark-Taylor’s high brand standards for curb appeal, attention to detail, resident experience, and overall culture.
