Job summary

AvalonBay Communities, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Leasing Consultant to lead daily leasing operations and deliver exceptional resident experiences in a fast-paced apartment community.

You will conduct customized tours, manage leads, and collaborate with the leasing team, with Saturday availability required to meet weekend demand. The role requires 1+ year leasing or customer service experience, strong communication, and proficiency with property management software and MS Office,

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily leasing operations for the community and drive occupancy.
• Conduct personalized property tours and tailor recommendations to prospective residents.
• Follow up on leads with timely, tailored updates to convert inquiries.
• Provide training and support to team members as a senior on the leasing team.
• Maintain weekend coverage, with Saturday availability required.

Vivmark Residential is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Senior Leasing Consultant to take on the daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living. As a Senior Leasing Consultant you will be the driving force in helping residents find the best place to call home. Your creative and thoughtful tours will be customized to individual tastes, from recommending the perfect floorplan to outlining the best new neighborhood restaurants. You know what makes people tick, and follow through on every lead to ensure that our prospective residents know you care. With weekends being the most high-traffic time for future residents to explore their home options, Saturday availability is required.

• Incredible customer service skills. You have a knack for creating a sense of community and the drive to go the extra mile to create a spectacular experience for new residents. Your success and purpose are driven by the relationships that you build.
• Sales and marketing chops. Your personalized connections and recommendations drive our leasing performance, and your ability to create excitement through creative campaigns, continuous outreach, and social media fuel community enthusiasm for Vivmark.
• Follow-through. By understanding what’s important to our prospective residents, you continuously reach out with tailored updates - from the ideal floorplan they’ve been eyeing, to the newest hot-spot openings, to the best food truck in the neighborhood – you help to paint a picture of what it’s like to call your community home.
• A genuine desire to help both residents and colleagues in Creating a Better Way to Live.
• Leadership: As the Senior Leasing Consultant, you will provide support, guidance and on-the-job training to team members and act as a resource for new hires as well.

You Have

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• 1+ year experience in a leasing or customer service role in the real estate or property management industry required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
