Job summary

University of Rochester is seeking a seasoned Process Improvement Leader to partner with URMC leadership. You will apply Lean principles, DMAIC and project management to drive sustainable operational improvements across complex healthcare processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree preferred.
5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years at a managerial level required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Lean Practitioner or Expert.
Certified black belt in Lean Six Sigma or similar improvement science methodology preferred.

Responsibilities

Program Initiation: identify strategic program alignment, create governance, milestones and deliverables.
Program Management: manage programs, coordinate managers, maintain master schedule and risks.
Project Management: oversee medium to large projects, define objectives, develop and execute plans, ensure on-time delivery.
Process Analysis and Data Analytics: analyze processes and data, produce reports and visualize progress.
Individual and Team Coaching: coach Lean/DMAIC practitioners and teams.
Training and Education: develop Lean knowledge across the organization, partner with educators.
