KAISER in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Senior Manager, Investigative Science to build and lead an innovative research program, secure internal and external funding, and ensure compliant execution of funded projects. You will oversee budgets, allocate staff, mentor others, and guide complex study designs across divisions.

You will also lead proposal development, ensure policy adherence, and disseminate findings through journals and conferences, shaping strategic directions in health services research.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of experience serving as a principal investigator in externally and/or internally funded research environments.
• Doctoral degree in health-related field with substantial leadership in research and evaluation.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain an innovative research program and secure funding from internal and external sources.
• Manage and ensure compliance with award requirements and regulatory standards across studies and programs.
• Oversee fiscal management, budgets, and staff allocation for research projects.
• Mentor senior team members, provide guidance on research methods and project management, and foster collaboration.
• Lead proposals writing for large, national-impact projects and coordinate pre-award activities.
• Disseminate research findings via publications, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
