Job summary

University of Rochester seeks an experienced facilities and capital program leader to oversee the Office of Facilities Construction (PDC). You will provide executive leadership, manage budgets, and supervise project teams across diverse campus projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or related field and at least 10 years of senior project management experience in complex environments. LEED AP or similar certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or a related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing staff and multiple complex construction projects.
• LEED AP, project management, and/or construction management certifications are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and management to PDC with supervision, engagement, and operational support.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of project managers, admins, and staff to ensure world‑class facilities delivery.
• Oversee PDC staffing, HR & Finance, staffing models, and recruitment/training for PDC staff.
• Maintain a reporting platform for active projects with financial and schedule data.
• Lead procurement strategies, governance, and contract processes for capital projects.
