Job summary

Discovery Point - Seven Hills & Silverthorn is seeking a Lead Teacher to plan lessons and instruct children according to an approved curriculum that promotes growth across social, emotional, physical, and intellectual domains.

You will establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment, and actively participate in center operations, communicating with families and building positive relationships with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain CPR/Fire Safety training and other required training.
• Must have CDA/degree in ECE.
• Must meet state background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implements weekly curricula addressing all learning goals.
• Provides direction to other staff in classroom.
• Maintains safe and healthy learning environment.
• Communicates with families and participates in center functions.
• Plans lessons and instructs children according to approved curriculum.
