Job description

• Lead data platform initiatives through engineering principles and cloud-services maintenance
• Review data platform requirements, build scalable and efficient processes, and populate cloud platform data
• Curate large volumes of real-time and relational data for the data platform team
• Enhance data cloud and team processes using data engineering expertise
• Drive the data platform roadmap and define requirements, timelines, and resources
• Streamline data platform operations and lead complex integrations with the data engineering team
• Collaborate with data engineers on platform initiatives and cloud management
• Provide lead-level solution architecture, engineering design, implementation, and third-level support for Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Active Directory, and Windows Server
• Support authentication services including Entra ID, on-premises Active Directory, SSO for SaaS applications, SAML, OAuth2, Kerberos, and LDAP
• Provide technical support, design, and implementation for Entra and Active Directory authentication services, including AWS and Azure cloud deployments
• Develop engineering standards for Entra ID, Active Directory, core operating systems, and authentication services
• Develop technical partnerships with architecture, project, operations, and support teams
• Automate Microsoft authentication solutions in multi-forest and multi-domain environments
• Provide third-level support for distributed Entra ID and Active Directory environments, including AAD Connect, SSO, and Graph API

Requirements

• 7 years of relevant IT experience required
• High-tech customer-facing experience in Professional Services, Solution Architecture, Systems Administration, Engineering, or Consulting
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, and related technologies
• Senior-level operational support and implementation of large-scale enterprise solutions
• Infrastructure design and integration experience with Entra ID and Active Directory services
• 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID
• Understanding of monitoring best practices, preferably with Splunk, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and/or Quest Change Auditor
• Knowledge of infrastructure and server theories, principles, concepts, application infrastructure and standards, networking fundamentals, physical server architecture, virtualization technologies, VMware, Hyper-V, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN networks
• PowerShell scripting experience
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing Multi-Factor Authentication, SSO, and SSL certificates
• Understanding of WAN/LAN concepts and the TCP/IP protocol stack
• University degree preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred
• Microsoft Windows Server, Azure, or MCSE certifications preferred
• Working knowledge of ticketing systems preferred
• Strong written and verbal customer service skills preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills preferred
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform preferred
• Ability to deliver and execute technical projects across multiple customer-facing engagements preferred
• Must be able to work onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at a listed location in the United States
