Role Overview

The Senior Lead Specialist, Continuous Improvement, is responsible for driving process optimization, efficiency, and structured problem solving at Westinghouse locations worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering measurable results. Travel up to 20%, including international, is required. This is a US-only remote role.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  1. Partner with leadership to select, prioritize, and deploy key continuous improvement projects.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams to execute and deliver multiple projects using DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma tools.
  3. Lead Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training at US and European Westinghouse facilities.
  4. Identify and lead Kaizen Events to optimize business and manufacturing processes, improving quality, productivity, and costs.
  5. Act as a change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring adoption and sustainability.
  6. Report progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership, aligning initiatives with strategic goals.
  7. Mentor and coach teams on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years in Lean Six Sigma and process improvement; 10-15 years typical.
  • Certified Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, or actively pursuing it.
