JPMorgan Chase in Jersey City is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer for the Electronic Trading Technology group to drive development of trusted market-leading products in a secure, scalable way. You will guide agile teams, deliver high-quality KDB-based systems, and mentor engineers across projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software engineering, strong KDB/Q expertise, and hands-on experience with CI/CD, automation, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in KDB and Q language with solid professional experience.
• Automation and continuous delivery methods; strong knowledge of CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Development lead and mentoring experience: requirements capture, planning, testing, and delivery.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' work.
• Lead core development of KDB-based systems and framework development.
• Mentor team members; manage work and improve SDLC processes.
• Develop scalable real-time solutions using agile methodologies.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas.
• Promote firmwide frameworks, tools, and SDLC best practices.
• Encourage adoption of leading-edge technologies within the team.
