Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois seeks an experienced software engineering leader to guide a portfolio of distributed microservices and full-stack systems, delivering regulation-focused solutions for the company. You will mentor developers, stay ahead of tech trends, and collaborate with product managers to ship robust cloud-based experiences for millions of users.

Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, Scala, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• 9+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, or Spark (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred).
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity (preferred).
