Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York invites a Sr. Lead Software Engineer to join the Digital Technology, Personalization & Insights team. You will be a core technical contributor responsible for developing secure, scalable production code and guiding multiple teams across the SDLC.

You will influence product design, drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices, and mentor engineers, contractors, and vendors. Strong OO language experience and cloud/stream processing skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on OO programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency microservices.
• Familiar with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others’ code.
• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Influence product design, functionality, and operational processes.
• Serve as a function-wide SME in one or more focus areas.
• Promote SDLC best practices and AI-assisted tooling adoption.
• Apply SDLC tooling knowledge to improve automation and reliability.
