Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years practical experience in database design and development.
• Experience with DevOps automation and CI/CD.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools with secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for development teams performing database modernization activities.
• Influence decisions on database tech based on business requirements.
• Develop, support, and optimize database modernization, performance tuning, and design activities.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with secure coding standards.
• Collaborate with PaaS, DBaaS, and Cloud Delivery teams to enable self-service capabilities.
• Participate in tactical and strategic database modernization planning and pattern development.
