Job summary

Reata Glen in the United States is seeking a Senior Lead Server to manage table service in our community dining rooms. The role requires leading the wait staff and partnering with management to uphold top-tier service standards.

Full-time position, Monday-Saturday 11:30am-8pm and Sunday 8am-4:30pm, with a minimum of one weekend shift. Hourly pay between $22 and $23, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, 21+ years old.
• 2–4 years of previous server experience.
• Alcohol server certification preferred.
• Food handlers permit preferred.
• Must meet hours for full-time employment.
• Dining service experience in hotel/restaurant/club preferred.
• Ability to explain the menu and coordinate meal service.
• Ability to work with Residents, guests, families and staff with courtesy.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

The Senior Lead Server is responsible for table service within the Community dining rooms. This senior lead server must set the standard for all other servers to follow. The Senior Lead Server is responsible for assisting management to ensure the highest standards of customer service are being met by the rest of the wait staff.

What You Will Bring

• High school graduate. Min. 21 years of age
• Two to four years of previous server experience.
• Valid Alcohol Server Certification preferred
• Valid Food Handlers Permit preferred
• Must meet requirement of hours as a full-time employee.
• Dining service experience in a hotel, restaurant or club strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret and explain the menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with Residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
• Legally Authorized to work in the United States
