Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Sr Lead Security Engineer to architect, implement, and sustain cryptographic infrastructure and Hardware Security Modules across Thales and FutureX platforms. You will drive secure design, resiliency, and automated risk assessments within a global security team.

You will leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate risk analysis, validate outputs, and ensure data sensitivity is managed properly in complex payment and cryptographic environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years security engineering experience with cryptographic infrastructure.
• Experience with HSM architecture, high availability, DR and BC strategies.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with OpenSSL and certificate-based authentication.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and docs for HSM and cryptographic infra.
• Use AI-assisted capabilities to accelerate security risk analyses and docs.
• Design and implement HSM solutions across Thales and FutureX platforms.
• Create detailed diagrams, runbooks, and operational docs.
• Define infra standards and security controls aligned with policies.
• Oversee migrations, upgrades, and consolidations with minimal disruption.
• Provide guidance on key management, confidential computing, and standards.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in risk assessments, audits, and incident response activities.
• Apply AI-assisted practices to strengthen testing, traceability and audits.
• Apply payment process knowledge to infra design and decisions.
