Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect Senior Lead to evaluate security designs across cloud, network, infrastructure, and applications, and to translate requirements into technical guardrails and blueprints.

You will support compliance programs, audits, and control assessments, working with engineering and InfoSec to remediate risks and advance automated controls adoption using AI. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in security across cloud, network, infrastructure, applications, and data governance.
• Expertise in PCI DSS requirements, control assessment, and audit support.
• Proven experience designing security architectures and control frameworks for distributed systems.
• Experience translating requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails.
• Experience assessing security in cloud and Internet technologies and guiding remediation.

Responsibilities

• Assess cloud, network, infrastructure, and application designs against security and compliance requirements.
