Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer within Corporate Technology – Chief Technology Office in Jersey City. You will be a hands-on technical leader, delivering secure, scalable cloud data and AI platform solutions with end-to-end ownership from design to production.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture across ML workflows, and promote enterprise‑grade validation, observability, and IaC practices using AWS, EKS, Terraform, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Experience designing distributed systems and platform services.
• Proficiency in Python and building APIs/SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical leader, contributing production code and end-to-end delivery.
• Owns system and platform architecture for end-to-end ML workflows.
• Designs AI capabilities with evaluation, monitoring, and production readiness.
• Builds reusable APIs/SDKs and reference implementations.
• Partners with data scientists and product teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Ensures platform reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency with SLOs and monitoring.
• Automates infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines via IaC.
• Champions enterprise-grade AI-assisted engineering practices and validation standards.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts aligned with enterprise standards.
• Mentors engineers through coaching and reviews.
• Contributes to communities of practice exploring new tech.
