Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX, seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer to guide an agile Infrastructure Platforms team. You will drive AI-assisted development, architecture decisions, and secure, scalable technology products across multiple platforms.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-team stakeholders, and advance automation, telemetry, and cloud migrations in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, scalability or performance.
• Deep knowledge of multiple infrastructure technologies and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, yaml, Json, Bash).
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud technologies with capability to operate in public/private clouds.
• Experience with on-premises data centers and remote operations.
• Strong experience in multiple OS and Hypervisor platforms (Hyper-V, ESXi, KVM, VMware, OpenShift).
• Experience in infrastructure automation, optimization and observability.
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development tools with validation of outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI usage in engineering workflows with security considerations.
• Experience deploying telemetry tools to improve service visibility and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Apply tools from the SDLC toolchain to improve value and automation at scale.
• Influence product design, application functionality, and operations decisions.
• Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate across platforms to modernize technology processes and architecture.
• Lead infrastructure engineering aligned with business requirements.
• Drive multiple complex programs and champion engineering best practices.
