S&P Global Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Senior Lead Java Application Developer for a hybrid role based in the US, with 2 onsite days per week in NYC or Princeton, NJ. You will design, develop, and support Java applications and backend systems, mentor the team, and drive technical solutions across projects.
The role spans the full software lifecycle, emphasizing delivery excellence, system performance, and collaboration with business users and IT stakeholders.

The Impact: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Java Application Developer to design, develop, and support web-based applications and backend systems for S&P Dow Jones Indices. This role includes leading and mentoring development team members, driving technical solutions, and ensuring delivery excellence across projects. The developer will be responsible for both new initiatives and ongoing support for critical index applications, spanning the full software development lifecycle.
Experience in three or more of the following is preferred.

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $170,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
