Overview:

In this role the Senior Lead Engineer-Stress will actively involve in structural analysis of Landing System Components.

Position: Senior Lead Engineer (P3)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading/performing structural analysis of aircraft components and assemblies while working as a part of integrated team.
  • Structural Analysis includes calculation of loads, static analysis and fatigue analysis.
  • Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft components using Classical Analysis and Finite Element Analysis.
  • Generate documentation to report the analysis results to support certification.
  • Able to take ownership and handle the project with minimum dependency.
  • Ensure the analysis tasks are completed within the stipulated time and high quality.
  • Be a team player with an ability to communicate with cross functional teams, SBU and exhibit the go-getter type of attitude.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in structural analysis of Metallic aircraft components and assemblies.
  • Experience with calculation of Loads, Static & Fatigue analysis.
  • Experience in Finite Elements Analysis Tool - Abaqus.
  • Hands on experience in design software (CATIA V5).
  • Robust understanding of engineering fundamentals such as Material properties, Free Body Diagrams, Loads & Analysis methods.
  • Strong Academic background with knowledge of Aerospace Domain.
  • Good understanding of Strength of Material, Engineering Drawing and Manufacturing Process.
