Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Lead Engineer to design advanced building systems, prepare design documents, and perform calculations in coordination with multiple disciplines. You will mentor staff, support business development, and contribute to risk management and project leadership.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor’s in engineering, and 9–10 years of experience. You’ll lead teams, supervise design staff, and help drive client-focused solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and PE license required.
• 9–10 years of relevant experience preferred or equivalent with higher education.
• Proficiency in design software and compliance with codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts from concept through completion.
• Mentor designers and engineers and oversee staff performance.
• Develop project staffing plans and coordinate with project teams.
• Coordinate scope, schedule, and design team communications.
• Ensure quality and deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget.
