NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Lead Data Scientist to create recommendation and personalization solutions for Peacock Video Streaming. You will collaborate with an international team of engineers, architects, product managers and analysts to identify enhancements and evaluate models.

You’ll work on cutting-edge ML, including foundation models and reinforcement learning, and translate complex problems into actionable solutions, contributing to the streaming service architecture.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Master/PhD) or equivalent.
• 5+ years of ML experience in industry or research.
• Experience with commercial recommender systems or lead project in this area.
• Strong deep learning experience.
• Proficient in Python.
• Data processing with SQL and PySpark.
• Experience with foundation models and GenAI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop recommendation and personalization models for Peacock video services.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers on enhancements.
• Drive data collection and refine data sources for modeling.
• Translate complex problems for all levels of the organization.
• Work with architects to deploy real-time and batch data science solutions.
