The role requires deep expertise in Java, Python, Scala, AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake, with hands-on delivery across Spark ecosystems. Collaboration with business units is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on Java, Python and Scala across real-time and batch platforms.
• Experience building scalable Spark-based pipelines and data platforms.
• Deep AWS and Databricks expertise with Snowflake production experience.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Cassandra, Agile/Scrum, and enterprise Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reusable, secure, scalable data platforms and frameworks for high-throughput real-time systems and large-scale batch processing.
• Lead technical delivery for a Scrum team, mentor engineers, establish data governance practices.
• Partner with business and technical teams to deliver trusted data solutions.
• Drive data quality, security, and reliability across platforms.
