Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Data Engineer in Columbus, OH to join the Employee Data Technology team.

You will help design, build and scale data collection, storage, and analytics with a focus on security and reliability, working within an agile environment. You will leverage Python, Databricks, and Spark to deliver enterprise data solutions, while guiding the team on AI-assisted engineering practices and data governance.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on data engineering concepts with architecture and production ownership concepts.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong Python coding skills and deep experience with Databricks and Spark.

Responsibilities

• Provides recommendations on data management and governance procedures for data acquisition, maintenance, validation and utilization.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate data platform analysis with validation for data sensitivity.
• Designs and delivers trusted data collection, storage, access and analytics data platform solutions securely and scalably.
• Defines database backup, recovery and archiving strategy.
• Drives team adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices with secure coding and automated testing.
