This role partners closely with S&BD teams and other business units to deliver decision-grade insights that clarify uncertainty, anticipate risks, and identify opportunities on the most important questions facing the business.Data Analysts collect, analyze, and synthesize intelligence to guide strategic decisions, with emphasis on Refinery Value Chains or Natural Gas & Natural Gas Liquids value chains in support of MPC/MPLX Portfolio Strategy teams. The role requires a commitment to learning the operations, strategies, and competitive dynamics of the assigned business segment, monitoring external developments, and translating data, often large and unstructured, into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.This is an AI-accelerated role. We are looking for analysts who are fluent with data and with the AI tools used to draw insight from it: people who can manipulate, transform, and analyze information using AI, automation, and modern analytical tools to move faster and reach deeper conclusions than traditional analysis allows.This position will ideally be based in Findlay, OH, but other MPC locations may be considered.This position is part of a job progression with multiple career levels.
