A leading construction firm in Northwest Ohio is looking for a Senior MEP and GC Estimator to lead their estimating efforts and mentor junior staff. The estimator will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates, working closely with project managers and subcontractors while enjoying a supportive and employee-focused company culture. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including relocation assistance, are offered to attract the best talent.
Senior MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping) Estimator and GC (General Construction Estimator) needed.
I am working with a local full service construction firm who is currently in the high-growth mode. They are inundated with new business so are looking to centralize all their estimating activities to a focused Estimating Group and are looking for two individuals to lead this transition and train / mentor the less experienced Estimators in the associated groups (MEP and GC).
This are a very well structured general construction firm for their size. In the last 5 years have almost doubled their revenues to @$250m and just completed building a new facility adjacent to their two others to keep up with their growth.
They are nicely diversified and very stable. They are located in a very desirable area of Northwest Ohio and have worked with virtually every type of operation (municipal, auto, school, manufacturing, museum, retail, oil & gas, steel). They have a very dynamic management team and a very employee-focusing culture. They are heavily involved in the local community and have won "Best Place to Work" several times.
As a Senior MEP or GC Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects. This role involves analyzing blueprints, project specifications, and other documentation to assess the time, materials, labor, and equipment required for a project. The Estimator works closely with the project management team during the pre-construction process to ensure all costs are accurately accounted for and that the project stays within budget.
Benefits include: Aggressive pay [package, 401k matching, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, health savings account (HSA), life insurance, and paid time off (PTO).
