Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer for the Commercial & Investment Bank - eTrading team. The role focuses on building trusted, scalable technology products within a secure SDLC framework.

You will guide engineering teams, contribute to design decisions, and promote responsible AI usage while driving adoption of AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• 7+ years of practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced knowledge and demonstrated skills in programming languages C and C++.
• Experience leading enterprise-approved AI-assisted development tools with code review, testing, and automation.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Regularly provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives product design decisions, functionality, and technical operations.
