JPMorganChase in Plano, TX is seeking a Sr Lead Software Engineer - Java Back End, AWS to join an agile team that builds trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable environment.

You will provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, develop production-grade backend services in Java and Python, and drive AI-assisted engineering practices across the SDLC to improve quality, speed, and operability.

Competenze

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience leading large cross-functional technologist teams.
• Expert backend engineering in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python, with strong SQL/NoSQL data modeling.
• Deep AWS experience (ECS/EKS, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on Apache Kafka experience and robust CI/CD/test engineering practice.
• Excellent communicator across engineering and business teams.
• Experience leading multi-organization adoption of AI-enabled engineering operating models and governance.
