Job summary

Agile Actors in Athens is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to lead Angular-based solutions for diverse clients. You will implement scalable architectures, mentor engineers, and own frontend features from concept to delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The role emphasizes Angular 2+ with TypeScript, modern UI patterns, and collaboration with Product, Design, and Backend teams to create robust, user-centric web applications.

Qualifications

BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field.
Strong knowledge of software design principles and design patterns.
Excellent understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and hands-on experience with ES6+ / ESNext.
Proven experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular (2+) in production environments.
Strong experience with TypeScript (typing, generics, interfaces, advanced patterns).
Solid experience building responsive/adaptive web UIs using HTML5 and CSS3, with attention to performance and maintainability.
Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs, with good understanding of REST principles and common integration patterns.
Proficiency with version control, ideally Git, and experience working with modern branching and code review workflows.
Experience working in Agile environments and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx, NGXS, Akita, or Redux.
Strong testing mindset and experience writing: Unit tests (e.g., Jest, Jasmine, Karma) and/or E2E tests (e.g., Cypress, Protractor).
Familiarity with common front-end tooling and build pipelines (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm, yarn).

Responsibilities

Drive technical direction for Angular applications (architecture decisions, coding standards, scalability, performance).
Lead or mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Own features end-to-end: definition to delivery, proactively managing risks and dependencies.
