Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr. Lead Solution Architect to lead design and modernization efforts across the Manheim Marketplace domain. The role focuses on AI-driven solutions, aligning with business goals and governance while guiding architecture across services.

You will mentor teams, drive proofs-of-concept, and shape standard practices for scalable, compliant systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering.
10+ years of software development in mid-to-large companies or equivalent.
5+ years in solution/technical architecture.
Hands-on AI tech experience (LLMs, autonomous agents, vector databases, etc.).
3+ years AWS cloud architecture experience.
Experience with distributed systems patterns (REST, microservices, events).
Strong teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design solutions aligned with business needs with product and engineering teams.
Facilitate architecture design reviews and discussions.
Guide feature planning and act as technical expert.
Develop architecture standards and enforce best practices.
Oversee non-functional requirements and compliance in software development.
