Job summary

Salesforce Enterprise Security is hiring Senior and Lead Security Engineers for our Secure AI team to assess and maintain the security of deploying AI tooling at scale, partnering with stakeholders to meet Salesforce security requirements.

You will identify threats, design secure processes, and share expertise through internal events and publications, with a focus on balancing security and business agility in an agentic AI environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security role (Senior)
• 8+ years in security role (Lead)
• Experience with LLMs and agentic systems
• Familiarity with AI security attack surfaces
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Related technical degree required

Responsibilities

• Lead security assessments of emerging technology (AI tooling, agentic platforms) including architecture and design reviews, code reviews, and penetration tests.
• Provide guidance to team members and prospective suppliers on Salesforce security requirements including remediation advice and potential feature enhancements.
• Threat model common attacker methods to develop appropriate mitigation techniques, balancing security with functional needs.
• Develop automated processes and support tooling improvements to identify and solve problems at scale.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business partners to drive solutions through a secure development lifecycle.
• Define and develop technical security standards and guidelines with business partners.
• Research new technologies, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities for strategic planning.
• Communicate clearly to partners at all levels, including non-technical audiences.
