Job summary

Altasciences is seeking an Associate Director, LCMS within the Laboratory Sciences department to provide scientific leadership in bioanalysis by LC-MS/MS. The role includes managing staff, ensuring performance, and driving scientific and operational excellence.

You will participate in internal and external presentations, contribute to strategic planning, and support regulatory compliance while aiming for client satisfaction and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience. MSc with 7+ years of relevant experience; or BSc with 10+ years of relevant experience in bioanalysis or other pertinent laboratory based qualifications in a CRO or Pharma in lieu of Ph.D.
• 3+ years related experience in a multidisciplinary environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents; write advanced reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups

Responsibilities

• Lead personnel management activities: scheduling projects, training and development, performance reviews.
• Scientifically review driving documents and reports; escalate issues to Senior management.
• Contribute to financial success via revenue targets and client satisfaction.
• Ensure quality and regulatory requirements are met by staff; resolve KPI issues.
• Implement operational improvements for efficiency and cost control.
