Job summary

The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking an Assistant Chief Laundry Mechanic to maintain and repair our commercial laundry equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. You will assist in supervising daily maintenance activities and serve as acting lead in the absence of the Chief Laundry Mechanic.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in hotel/hospitality laundry maintenance, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience maintaining commercial laundry equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and reading diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Experience in hotel/hospitality laundry operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of commercial laundry equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues.
• Schedule and supervise daily maintenance activities.
• Assist in equipment installations and system improvements.
