Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical training in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience with laser components, optical inspection and assembly is required or highly desirable.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and technicians in developing high power laser systems.
• Perform precision inspection, cleaning, bonding and troubleshooting of laser components.
• Assemble, align, test and maintain laser components and sub-assemblies.
• Set up tests, document data and follow laser safety procedures.
