Job summary

Talley in Woodridge, IL is seeking an Order Parker - Large Parcel to join our team. The role involves packing customer orders, transfers, and vendor claims with precision and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include quality checks, data entry, labeling, and staging orders for shipment. Experience with handheld scanners and desktop PC software is required; High School or GED is preferred. The position is on-site with family-friendly benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar position / parallel working environment utilizing a handheld barcode scanner and desktop PC applications.
• High School or GED - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a final quality check to ensure orders/transfers/vendor claims are accurate per requirements.
• Input data entry to document items and quantities in each packing transaction.
• Prepare and package outbound orders to protect against damage during transit.
• Label packing lists and stage orders for shipment manifests.
• Identify expedited orders and prioritize processing accordingly.
• Assist in training new packing staff and other less experienced packers.
