Job summary

LaraBench in Minnesota is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel, React, and Next.js. You will build backend services, APIs, and data models while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will own architecture discussions, optimize performance, ensure code quality with automated tests, and contribute to financial services applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Laravel.
• Experience with React and Next.js.
• Experience deploying on AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server / MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Develop modern user interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Design, implement, and optimize relational database solutions.
• Integrate internal systems, third-party services, APIs, and external vendors.
• Develop and support software applications used by financial services professionals.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Troubleshoot complex application, database, and production issues.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Collaborate with other engineers and internal teams to plan and deliver new features.
