Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Landscape Architect to join the Urban Design, Planning & Landscape Architecture studio.

You will lead site and public realm design across master planning through construction documents, collaborating with architects, planners and engineers to deliver vibrant urban spaces. With a minimum of 8 years’ experience and a licensed landscape architect, you’ll guide multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate clients, review plans, and mentor junior staff while ensuring design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional registration is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong ability to lead and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop site and public realm design through all project phases from master planning to construction observation.
• Create 2D/3D concept drawings using multiple software tools and hand drawing.
• Participate in zoning, public engagement, design charrettes and programming.
• Provide construction observation and plant selection oversight.
• Lead projects and mentor staff while coordinating with disciplines and clients.
