Job description

Project Budget: Competitive
Project Start Date: July 21, 2025
Project End Date: November 21, 2025

Are you an experienced Landscape Architect with a background in LVIA work, available for an immediate or July start? Are you looking for a short-term opportunity that offers flexibility to work from home, whether you’re based in Ireland or the UK? Would you enjoy contributing to a diverse and busy portfolio of projects within a supportive, specialist consultancy?

We’re looking for a Senior Landscape Architect – LVIA to join Macro Works (part of the APEM Group) on a 4-month contract basis, either via day rate or fixed-term contract. This role is fully remote, and we welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in the UK or Ireland.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality LVIA for a wide range of developments, from coastal and offshore projects to urban and renewable energy schemes. You’ll manage your own projects, liaise directly with clients and lead consultants, and coordinate with our in-house GIS, CAD, and graphics teams to meet project deadlines.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy, close-knit team during a peak period and make an immediate impact.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

A degree in landscape architecture, environmental planning, geography, or a related field

Proven experience delivering LVIA across various development types

Familiarity with GIS, CAD, and visualisation tools

Excellent report writing and communication skills

Confidence working independently and managing your own workload and deadlines

Availability to start in July 2025 and commit for approximately 4 months

Desirable:

Chartered status or professional membership (e.g. CMLI)

Full driving licence (for potential site visits)

Skills in landscape photography

At Macro Works, part of the APEM Group, we offer flexibility, professional support, and the chance to contribute to a range of high-profile projects. You’ll be part of a team that values quality, integrity, collaboration, and forward thinking.

Interested in a flexible, short-term role where you can make an impact from wherever you are? We’d love to hear from you.
