Black Rock Enterprises is seeking a meticulous and experienced Land Surveyor to support civil construction, utilities, and heavy highway projects throughout New Jersey. This role ensures accuracy of sitework, from initial topo mapping to final as-built collections, working with field superintendents and project managers to deliver high-precision data on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of surveying experience and mastery of GPS and robotic total stations, with a safety-first mindset

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional land surveying experience in civil construction or sitework.
• Proficiency with Leica, Trimble, or Topcon equipment and GNSS systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and specs.
• Strong math and real-time field calculation skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform high-precision field surveys for civil, utility, and highway projects.
• Operate GPS, robotic total stations, and drones for data collection.
• Establish control points and verify site boundaries with project teams.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments.
• Document field reports and maintain digital records.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance on all sites.
