Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Mount Laurel, NJ, to lead surveying projects and oversee teams. The ideal candidate has a PLS license, 10+ years of civil engineering and surveying experience, and deep knowledge of surveying principles and field techniques.

You will supervise survey teams, review deeds and plats, and ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance while collaborating with clients and engineers on project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field.
• Active PLS license in NJ and/or PA.
• 10+ years of Civil Engineering and Land Surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles and field techniques.
• Proficient with total stations and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage land surveying projects from initiation to completion.
• Oversee boundary, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
• Review deeds, plats, and easements.
• Provide expert guidance on complex surveying issues.
• Supervise Survey Party Chiefs, CAD Technicians, and Survey Technicians.
• Oversee preparation of plats, maps, and drawings.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control of survey data.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and technologies.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards.
